ANTICOAGULANTS
Anticoagulants are drugs that work to prevent harmful blood clotting in the body; blood clot can cause serious problems like deep vein thrombosis, a stroke or pulmonary embolism. Such clots can be removed by inserting leeches and blood-sucking insects in the area of clot. A pharmaceutical called anticoagulants to be used as an injection or as a medication for thrombotic disorders. Oral anticoagulants are also available. Some anticoagulants are used in medical equipment such as test tubes, blood transfusion bags, and renal dialysis equipment but it also has some side effects which causes excessive bleeding.
Excessive Bleedings:
Signs of excessive bleeding are passing blood into urine, passing blood when you stool or having black stool, nose bleeding, bleeding gums, vomiting blood, coughing up blood, severe back pain, severe chest pain, difficulty in breathing, heavy increased bleeding in periods etc.
Possible other side effects are constipation, being sick, dizziness, headache, rashes, hair loss, jaundice, itchy skin, indigestion etc.

What is PRAXBIND®?
PRAXBIND is indicated in patients treated with Pradaxa when reversal of the anticoagulant effects of dabigatran is needed: • For emergency surgery/urgent procedures • In life-threatening or uncontrolled bleeding. This indication is approved under accelerated approval based on a reduction in unbound dabigatran and normalization of coagulation parameters in healthy volunteers.
